International law firm Clark Hill has officially announced that they have combined with the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania litigation firm Conrad O’Brien that will add 18 seasoned litigators to Clark Hill’s robust Litigation practice group.

“We’re pleased to welcome the Conrad O’Brien team to Clark Hill and look forward to a long and successful collaboration with them,” John Hensien, Chief Executive Officer of Clark Hill, in an official release. “In combining with top-notch firms like Conrad O’Brien that share our commitment to client service, diversity and professional development, Clark Hill has strategically grown to meet our clients’ evolving needs. Our expansion in recent years enables us to attract and retain outstanding talent and broaden our depth of service offerings internationally. Today’s news is exciting for our firm, for the Philadelphia office and for our clients.”

Conrad O’Brien was founded in 1984 and has built a solid reputation that has garnered recognition from Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America.

“Law firms, like many businesses, go through evolutions. We’re confident that for our clients and our colleagues, combining with Clark Hill is the next best step for us,” said Nicholas Centrella, previously Managing Partner at Conrad O’Brien, and now a Member at Clark Hill. “Being able to offer our clients access to a wider array of legal services and provide our lawyers with increased professional opportunities was very attractive to us. But what set Clark Hill apart is its culture. They’re collegial, collaborative and committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, all of which makes it an attractive place to work and to expand upon the culture of Conrad O’Brien.”

This marks another big move for the firm who announced in January of this year that the real estate boutique firm of Larsson & Scheuritzel also joined the Philadelphia office.

“It’s an exciting time to be in Clark Hill’s Philadelphia office,” Lauri Kavulich, Member-in-Charge of the Philadelphia office added. “Our new colleagues bring a wealth of litigation talent to the firm. I look forward to getting to know and working with all of them.”
